Dr Prem-Pal Sehmi
Dr Sehmi graduated from Birmingham Dental School in 2003. Since then he has acquired a large portfolio of dental practices providing premium dental care to patients across Yorkshire.
In 2008 Prem opened the Centre for advanced dentistry within the Academy of clinical excellence, a state of the Art Private Dentistry centre offering the latest techniques in Implant and Cosmetic treatments.
As well as Dental practices Dr Sehmi owns the Academy of clinical excellence. A beautiful purpose-built Academy that has been thoughtfully designed to deliver dental post-graduate education in a 21st century setting which inspires and delights its many visitors. The Dental Academy offers dental courses with hands-on content; these include implant courses, to Dentists.
Dr Mike Ainsworth, Cosmetic and Implant Dentist
Mike joined us in 2012 after returning to the UK from Spain where mike was Principle dentist and co owner of an implant centre.
Mike qualified at Birmingham University in 2002
Mike has been providing patients with cosmetic and Implants. He placed his first implants in October 2002 and has placed over 700 since then. He has a special interest in implant dentistry and keeps ahead of all the latest techniques attending many seminars on the future of implants. He has treated patients in all works of life and has a good understanding of patient's needs. He can provide nervous patients with dental sedation.
Mike is actively involved in continuing professional development to ensure that his skills and knowledge stay at the forefront of clinical dentistry. Mike is known to his patients and colleagues as an outstanding clinician as well as gentle and kind.
Mike will always take the time to listen, care and address your dental needs with the highest level of clinical excellence.
Melissa Clark Hygienist
Melissa joined the team in 2010. Melissa qualified as a dental therapist - hygienist in 2009 and worked at the Leeds Dental institute before joining the team in 2010. During her time as a dental therapist she has dealt with complex gum disease treatments as well as dental implant and cosmetic cases.
Melissa's understanding and attentiveness to patients needs has been rewarded with patients coming back time after time for ongoing care and this has meant many patients now feel like old friends. Above all, Melissa has a thorough and caring approach and strives for excellence in her patient care.
Deana Fraser, patient coordinator, practice manager
Deana joined the team at the start of 2012. Deana is a qualified dental nurse with 7 years experience in cosmetic dentistry, including implant nursing, sedation and practice management.
Deana's aim is to provide Patients with a professional but comfortable, relaxed dental experience and to ensure they are always happy with the quality of care they receive.
