This patient had seen the same private dentist for many years and had had multiple white composite fillings placed in his front teeth which had stained. Unfortunately, his teeth were discoloured as a child, due to the use of antibiotics during tooth formation. Note the gum recession around the front teeth and how this impacts the original smile by showing an uneven crooked appearance to the gums. The gum line was first improved by the use of short-term orthodontics aligning the gums, so that the final end result of full-mouth reconstruction gave an incredible improvement not only to the smile – but also to the function and longevity of his teeth.
